- How long is the Black Cat Track?
The Black Cat Trail is 61 grueling kilometres. The track runs from Wau in the Bulolo district through eight villages and to the coast in Salamaua in the Huon district and takes five days to walk the full stretch.

That would have to be Vanimo, West Sepik province (Sandaun). Vanimo is also the gateway to South East Asia. About 45 minutes drive west you reach the border station of Wutung, cross over and you are in Indonesia’s Papua province.

Kup is a district of 18,000 people high in the mountains of Simbu province.

- What is the Geographical make up of the new Jiwaka province?
Geographically, Jiwaka is made up of three electorates spanning 8 districts. They are Anglimp South Waghi which covers Anglimp, South Waghi, and East & West Kambia. Banz and Nondugl districts make up North Waghi and finally the remote Jimi electorate is composed of Upper, Middle and Lower Jimi local level government councils.

Not sure if this should be in the History section or here! Jane Island was the name given to Tatana by Captain John Moresby. He named it after his wife. Unlike Port Moresby and Fairfax Harbour which have remained the name of Jane Island did not catch on.

Sorry, I do not understand your question but never mind I will try to guess what you are after. You possibly are after the Southern Region? This consisted of - the National Capital District, and the following provinces Central, Gulf, Western, Northern (Oro) and Milne Bay. You could also be after the Southern Highlands Province?

Do you mean Tab Island? I believe Pig Island is a local name. It is off the coast of Madang town.

I hope you are talking about the Hermit Islands?
The Hermit Islands, if you can find them on the map you get a prize! are Northwest of Kavieng but still east of mainland PNG, they are part of the Admiralty Island chain.
There are about 10 islands in the Hermit chain. The main island Luf, is the only one inhabited with a village.

Sorry this is a confusing question.
The mainland of PNG occupies the eastern side of the Island of New Guinea. The other side is shared with Indonesia. PNG is, however not just this island. It consists of many other islands. Some of the bigger ones are New Britain, New Ireland and Bougaiville but it has hundreds of other islands.
The area of the island of New Guinea is 786,000 km²(303,500 mi sq).
