The Ode of Remembrance In Tok Pisin (Neo Melanesian / Pidgin)

In memory of all those who have died for any country with special recognition of those who lost their lives in Papua New Guinea.

Ol i no ken kamap lapun olsem yumi olgeta husat i stap yet kamap lupun...
Skin bilong em i no les long taim em i olpela, na ol yia bai i no kotim em
Long taim san i go daun na long moningtaim tru

Mipela i no ken lusim tingting long em.

The "Ode of Remembrance" is an ode taken from Laurence Binyon's poem, "For the Fallen", which was first published in The Times in September 1914.

-- -- The phrase Lest we forget (Mipela i no ken lusim tingting long em) is often added as a final line at the end of the ode and repeated in response by those listening, especially in Australia.
