Goroka International School
The school is organised into four units; a purpose built preschool, an early years unit, a middle years unit and an upper school. In addition there is a science laboratory, music room, computer room, library and an audio visual/drama room.
The grounds are extensively landscaped with gardens and play equipment and the school oval and basketball court provide excellent sporting opportunities.
The school offers the IEA curriculum for all students as well as the PNG syllabus in Grade 8-10.
Students are encouraged to use the fantastic computer facilities in the school, integrating IT with all areas of the curriculum.
Parents are encouraged to participate in the learning of their children and are welcome to become part of the school through membership of the Parents and Friends Association and the Board of Governors.
