The 2011 Miss South Pacific PNG contest was won by Miss Nambawan Trophy Ltd Sarah Karo She is from Hula and Gabagaba in Central province. Karo will represent PNG as its cultural ambassador at the Miss South Pacific pageant in Samoa next month. The contestants were judged in five categories: Bilum wear, sarong wear, talent, traditionally-inspired attire and stage interviews.
