At the end of 1999 Air Niugini had the requirement for extra capacity so they wet leased an RJ70 Regional Jet from National Jet Systems in Australia. These photos were taken when the aircraft arrived in Papua New Guinea at the Jackson's Airport, Seven Mile, Port Moresby.

The jet carrying Australian registration VH-NJW was returned to National Jet Systems early in the year 2000.
